Thank you to everyone who has come to any of our previous Wicked Local Pop-Up, Guest Chef, and Brunch Events this year. I cannot let you all know how much it means to me to bring folks together over tasty foods and share with you my passion and dreams.
With holidays approaching, parties to attend family to see, TBD Foods will only be holding 1 more event this year and I must say it might be our best to date.
In the giving holiday spirit we are putting together a fundraiser for a local food bank, Helping Hands in Somerville. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Helping Hands to provide them with support to feed local families in need this holiday season.
The event itself will be on Saturday, December 13th and will include past guest chefs Robert Dandliker and John Suh as well as pastry chef and my friend Melinda Bell. Together we will prepare 1-2 course each for the evening combining our different cooking styles to provide a truly unique dining experience.
Dinner will be a 5-course menu with both a meat and vegetarian option. Although the market season is winding down, together we will create a seasonally inspired menu featuring the finest ingredients including local meat, eggs, dairy and well as some good finds from the winter markets. All dishes will be prepared from scratch by each chef. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm, so feel free to arrive around 7ish to get settled in and enjoy a beverage or two.
The menu for the event is TBD as we collaborate on ideas for the menu, but I will announced by the beginning of December
We do ask that you please uphold your RSVP, unfortunately we have had to turn away folks in the past when there was space for them at the table. To assure a seat for anyone who has RSVP’d we do ask buy your ticket in advance. Tickets will be $75 for meat and vegetarian or menus reserve your seat for $20.
If you cannot reserve your spot in advanced please email me at TBDFoods@gmail.com and I will be happy to help.
Tickets can be purchased in our website here: http://www.tbdfoods.com/order-our-food/pop-up-to-feed-the-hungry
A few complimentary bottles of fine will be available but fell free to bring your own.
If the event does sell out TBD Foods will donate another $100 to helping hands. If you would like to donate directly to helping hands or provide a larger donation please let me know and I would be happy to help.
